Vari Electric Desk error codes and reset

What this error means

Vari's official code table (same JieCang control family as UPLIFT): E01/E02 leg failure, E03 overload, E04 data error, E05 stuck button, E06 connection error, E07/E08 loose M1/M2 leg cable, and H01 motor overuse (wait 20 minutes). First-line fix for most is the reset.

Symptoms

• Error on keypad or unresponsive desk
• Desk stops at a fixed height

Try this first (safe DIY steps)

1. For E07/E08: reseat the leg cables at the control box first
2. Vari's official reset: hold the Down arrow ~5 seconds until 'RST' flashes, keep holding until the desk reaches its lowest height then rises and the display reads 25.0
3. For H01 (overuse), wait 20 minutes
4. Unplug 60 seconds and retry if the reset won't take

Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
