Fujitsu error codes, explained
Halcyon mini-split systems. Codes below: E-codes via EE:EE retrieval (E1:00…). Each guide covers what the code means, what you can safely try yourself, when to stop and call a technician, and what the repair typically costs.
Fujitsu shows EE:EE — the hidden code retrieval trick
EE:EE (or E:EE) on a Fujitsu wired controller isn't the fault — it's the envelope. Press Energy Save + Zone Control together for 3+ seconds and the actual stored code appears. The E-code map: E0:00 remote-to-indoor comm, E1:00 indoor-to-outdoor comm (the most common complaint), E2-E7 and EA-Ed various thermistors, EE:00 high pressure, EF:00 discharge temperature ('short of gas'). On units without wired remotes, the lamps blink the code in counted patterns — but blink tables are series-specific, so match your manual.
Fujitsu serial communication error (E1:00 / code 11)
The indoor and outdoor units stopped talking — Fujitsu's version of the fault every mini-split brand shares (Mitsubishi E6, Daikin U4, LG CH05, Panasonic H11). Wiring, power to one unit, or a board. The breaker reset clears transient cases; recurrence is a technician diagnosis.
