FlexiSpot E-codes (E01–E30) — Controller error family

Applies to: E-series / EN / EC frames

What this error means

FlexiSpot (Loctek) error codes vary by model and control box, and run further than most people expect: E01/E02 overheat or overuse, E03/E04 (or 'OL') overload, E07–E23 motor and internal wiring faults, E09 uneven legs, E30 control-system errors. Whatever the number, the fix path is reset-first. Important: E-code numbering is brand-specific — a FlexiSpot E01 (overheat) means something different from an UPLIFT or Vari E01 (leg fault).

Symptoms

  • E-code on keypad
  • Desk stuck, uneven legs, or moving only down

Try this first (safe DIY steps)

  1. Unplug for 60+ seconds, replug, wait 20 seconds
  2. FlexiSpot's official reset: press and hold the Down button; keep holding at the lowest position until the desk slightly dips and stops, then release
  3. Reseat every cable: leg-to-control-box connectors work loose as desks move daily
  4. Reduce load and retry if the code appeared under heavy weight

Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.

When to call a technician

FlexiSpot support will send replacement control boxes/motors under warranty; note your exact code and frame model first.
