Brother 'No Paper Fed T1' — Pickup roller time

What this error means

The tray didn't pick up paper. Brother even has a dedicated message for the chronic version ('Repetitive No Paper Fed — Please Clean Pick Up Roller') — which tells you the fix: the rollers. Clean first, replace if chronic.

Symptoms

• Paper present but not feeding
• Grabbing multiple sheets or none

Try this first (safe DIY steps)

1. Reseat the tray; fan and flip the paper stack; don't overfill
2. Wipe the pickup rollers with a barely damp lint-free cloth, let dry
3. Chronic recurrence = replace the roller kit (cheap part, simple job on most models)

Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
