Konica Minolta C2558/C2559 — Toner density sensor siblings

What this error means

Companions to the famous C2557: C2558 flags abnormally HIGH toner density at the black TCR sensor, C2559 a failed cyan sensor auto-adjustment (mappings shift slightly by engine generation). Reseating the toner cartridge and imaging unit is the worthwhile user step; beyond that it's developer/sensor service.

Symptoms

• C255x after a toner or imaging unit change
• Print density visibly off

Try this first (safe DIY steps)

1. Power off; remove and reseat the relevant toner cartridge and imaging/developing unit
2. Power on; allow any stabilization cycle to complete

Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
