What this error means
These appear only during the automatic developer setup a technician runs after installing new developer — not in normal operation. If you're seeing one, a service procedure didn't complete; the tech re-runs the adjustment.
Symptoms
- Error right after developer/drum service
- Machine won't complete setup
Try this first (safe DIY steps)
- Nothing user-side — call the servicing tech back; the adjustment needs re-running
Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
