UPLIFT Desk 'ASr' — It's actually 'RST' (reset required)
Applies to: UPLIFT V2 / V2-Commercial
What this error means
Here's the secret nobody tells you: 'ASr' is simply how the letters 'RST' render on the keypad's 7-segment LED display. Your desk is asking for a reset — usually after a power interruption. Third-party sites claiming ASr is an 'anti-collision sensor recalibration' state are wrong; UPLIFT's own programming guide confirms the display equivalence.
Symptoms
- ASr (i.e., RST) on display
- Desk unresponsive to normal presses, often after a power outage or unplugging
Try this first (safe DIY steps)
- Complete the standard reset: press and HOLD Down until the desk lowers fully, rises slightly, and stops
- If it won't complete, unplug the power cord, hold Down 10 seconds to discharge, replug, and repeat
Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
When to call a technician
Contact UPLIFT support if resets won't complete — keypad or control box swap under warranty is common.
