UPLIFT Desk E01–E12 — Control system error family
Applies to: UPLIFT V2 / V2-Commercial
What this error means
JieCang controller error codes covering motor communication faults, overloads, and leg-position mismatches. The number maps to a control-box port (E01/E07 point at the M1 leg port, E02/E08 at M2, and so on) — which is why UPLIFT's own diagnostic is swapping leg cables between ports to see if the error follows the cable. Recovery is the same for nearly all of them.
Symptoms
- E-number on the keypad
- One leg moving while the other doesn't (position mismatch)
- Desk stops mid-travel
Try this first (safe DIY steps)
- Check that each leg's cable and the keypad cable are firmly clicked into the control box — E-codes are very often just a loose connector
- Unplug the power cord, hold Down 10 seconds to discharge the controller, replug
- Run the reset: hold Down until lowest position, slight rise, stop
- Remove load from the desk and retry (overload errors)
- If the code persists, swap the two leg cables at the control box: error follows the cable = cable fault; stays on the port = control box; stays with the leg = leg motor
Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
When to call a technician
If one specific E-code survives cable reseat + reset: note the exact number and contact UPLIFT support — they'll identify whether it's the control box, keypad, or a leg motor, all user-swappable parts.
