Ricoh SC101 — Exposure lamp error

What this error means
The scanner's exposure lamp didn't light or produced too little light during the white-plate check.
Symptoms
- Copies fail while network printing works
- Dark or blank copies before the error
Try this first (safe DIY steps)
- Clean the platen glass and scan strip
- Power cycle
Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
